Special Dharma Talk on Campus

MUBSS is hosting our second Dharma talk for Semester 2 2008.
The details are as follows:
Title: “An Introduction to Tai Chi and Meditation”
Speaker: Venerable Jue Yao of BLIA/FGS
Date: Wednesday, 17th of September 2008
Time: 5pm – 6.30pm
Venue: Gryphon Gallery, School of Graduate Research (SGR) building, 1st floor.
Bio:
Ven Jue Yao was a Business graduate from university before attending Fo Guang Shan Buddhist College in Taiwan. Since graduating from FGS Buddhist College, she has been practicing in Chung Tian Temple in Brisbane. The Venerable has taught Buddhism and Meditation at Griffith University and University of Queensland. Currently, Venerable Jue Yao teaches Meditation at Victoria University and International Buddhist College of Victoria (also known as Fo Guang Shan Melbourne) in Yarraville.
It is an honour to invite Venerable Jue Yao over to the University to present a talk.

MUBSS will appreciate for your time to complete this survey for the benefits of a possibility to set up a study group that will be of help to people who are keen on Buddhism.
Briefly, the study group may involve prior reading of Buddhist material or viewing of a video clip and a discussion topic being post for you to ponder about before attending the actual session.
The structure of this study group is only a brief outline. Comments or sharing of experiences for the structuring of this study group will be greatly appreciated.
